Welcome to the Swedish Red Cross’ whistleblowing function
Via this reporting channel, you can report any irregularities or suspected violations within Svenska Röda Korset, Svenska Röda Korsets Högskola and Svenska Röda Korsets Ungdomsförbund. This whistleblower function is administered by PwC on behalf of Svenska Röda Korset.
Reporting
You can create a written or verbal report by clicking on the button “Create a new report” further down on this page. You will then be directed to the next page where you can answer a number of questions in a written questionnaire. If you prefer to leave a voice message, you can use the button “I want to report orally” that is also found on the next page.
When sending a report you can select if you want to be anonymous or if you want to include your contact information.
When submitting a report it is important that you are as thorough as you can and include all information you have about the irregularity or suspected breach of law/policy. This is crucial to give the whistleblowing function a good basis for evaluating and investigating the reported information.
Below are some examples of what information the report should contain:
What types of irregularity or suspected breach of law/policy that the incident is related to,
Where did the incident occur,
When did the incident occur, if possible please state both time and date as well as if the incident is recurring,
The people who are involved,
If any, the actions you have taken in regards to the incident
Documentation that can be used as support or evidence in the incident report.
Voluntary contact information (e.g. name, phone number, email address)
Schedule a meeting to submit a report
If you do not want to report an irregularity or suspected breach of law/policy through the system you can ask for a physical meeting. If you want to schedule a meeting you should click on “Create a new report” and state under the heading “Description” that you want to book a meeting. The whistleblowing function will then contact you through the system to suggest a time and place for the meeting. You can access the meeting details by clicking on “Follow up on existing report”. The meeting details will not be available right away so we recommend you to follow up on the report after a couple of days. If you want to be contacted in another way please leave your contact information in the report where you specify that you want a physical meeting. The meeting will be conducted by people from PwC who are responsible for processing whistleblowing reports sent to Svenska Röda Korset'swhistleblowing function and will be held at one of PwC's offices. During the meeting you can choose if you want PwC to share your identity and contact information with PwC’s contact persons at current organization or if you only want PwC to know your identity.
Processing of received reports
All reports are processed immediately.
When a report is submitted you are given a unique case number and a verification code as a receipt for the submission of the report. Your unique case number and verification code will be used when submitting additional information or when obtaining feedback on the report. Feedback is obtained through returning to this page and clicking on the button “Follow up an existing report” below.
When a new report is received PwC will perform a first assessment of the report to determine if the report categorizes as being within the scope for the whistleblowing function. The report is then sent to the current organization's whistleblower groupwho will make a decision if the report should be investigated further or not.
