What and how can I report?
The reporting system shall be used to report misbehaviour and misconduct (e.g.: economic crimes such as bribery, corruption, money laundering, financial fraud, but also data protection or other serious irregularities) that you have identified or observed in relation to our company.
You can submit your information digitally (in writing or orally) via the reporting system. All reports are handled confidentially and securely.
Do I have to register to send a report?
No. You don’t need to register to submit a report. Even without any registration the reporting system enables you to keep in touch with the data protection officer or the person responsible for processing your report. The system generates a password for you, which allows you to track the report so that you can view your report later and follow up with any action taken.
General concerns and staff-related matters?
The reporting system is not intended to ask questions of a general nature and/or to raise personal complaints (e.g. about the quality of the food in the canteen; etc.) For these kinds of communication please get in touch with yourthe direct supervisor, the managing director or the HR department.
What protection do I enjoy as a whistleblower?
The DIRECTIVE OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCILon the Protection of Persons Reporting Violations of Union Law (the “Whistleblowing Directive” ) guarantees informants protection against any kind of disadvantages and harmful actions which might be taken by the company provided the informant submits justified information of any misconduct primarily though the organisations reporting-system.
Deliberate misinformation and/or badmouthing of colleagues is in any case a misconduct itself and can lead to legal actions against the informant.
What happens with my report?
Every report must be processed and evaluated. If the report is compliance-relevant, an internal investigation will be initiated. In this case, communication between the informant and the company is important must be kept active. Therefore, please access your report regularly, check the status of the investigation and communicate though the reporting-channel with the us.
