KGS DIAMOND Whistleblower System

INTRODUCTION

The KGS DIAMOND PORTUGAL Whistleblower Portal is intended for the communication of all complaints that are covered by:

the scope of application of the General Regime for the Protection of Whistleblowers approved by Law N.º. 93/2021 of 20th December, which transposed into national law Directive (EU) 2019/1937 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23thOctober 2019 on the protection of persons reporting breaches of European Union law.
the scope of application of the General Regime for the Prevention of Corruption approved by Decree-Law nº. 109-E/2021, of 9th December.
Discrimination and moral and/or sexual harassment.

In addition to strict compliance with the laws and regulations in place, KGS DIAMOND PORTUGAL is governed by principles of professional ethics which must at all times and in all places, inspire the behaviour of its employees. This is therefore considered a distinctive factor in strengthening trust with all its stakeholders.

Complaints can be registered in writing or verbally, anonymously or identified, with the last option indicating the name and contact details of the complainant. The description of the facts must contain as much detail as possible in order to facilitate follow-up.

Reports must be made in good faith. Misuse or making false statements is serious and undermines the purpose of this channel and will be punishable under the law.

On this page you can safely make a new report or follow up on a report that has already been made. Follow-up by the whistleblower is essential in order to see how the case is progressing and to provide any additional information.

Only the team responsible for the investigation will have access to the complaint and its follow-up, apart from the complainant.
