Internal reporting office under the Whistleblower Protection Act (Hinweisgeberschutzgesetz,HinSchG)

You can make confidential or anonymous reports of legal violations via this PROJECT FLOORS GmbH reporting office. We will receive and process your reports in strict confidence and, upon request, completely anonymously. The internal reporting office is managed by GIBAM as an independent ombudsman on behalf of PROJECT FLOORS GmbH.  We will receive and process your reports in strict confidence and, upon request, completely anonymously. Your report will be processed confidentially on the basis of the Whistleblower Protection Act (HinSchG).

Who is eligible to report?

• suppliers or their employees
• Other people with professional ties to the company

Which violations can be reported?

• Criminal offences, such as corruption, theft, fraud, or bodily harm
• Violations of fine provisions if they serve life, limb or health or to protect the rights of employees
• Infringements of directly applicable European Union acts
• Violations of federal and national legislation referred to in Section 2 Paragraph 3 of the HinSchG, such as requirements on environmental protection, regulations to combat money laundering and terrorist financing, regulations on food and feed safety or to protect consumer rights

How is the whistleblower protected under the HinSchG?

• Any retaliation against the whistleblower due to a report is prohibited
• The threat or attempt of reprisals is also prohibited
• If the whistleblower suffers discrimination in connection with their professional activity, it is presumed that this is undue reprisal or discrimination as a result of the report (reversal of the burden of proof)
• In the event of a violation of the prohibition of reprisals, the perpetrator must compensate for the resulting damage to the whistleblower
• Violations of the HinSchG are punished with severe fines

How the reporting office works

You can submit your report both confidentially, providing your contact details, or completely anonymously. The message can be sent in text form or as an audio recording. If you would like to submit the report in person, please let us know using the registration form or as an audio recording. We will then contact you to arrange a personal meeting. If you have reported an issue to us, you will receive a confirmation of receipt within seven days at the latest. We will first check your information. If this examination reveals that the facts you describe appear plausible and fall within the scope of application of the Whistleblower Protection Act, clarification measures will be taken. We will inform you of the results or any measures still planned within three months from confirmation of receipt. It is also possible that we may need further answers or information from you.
