Whistleblower Protection Channel (whistleblowing channel).

Due to the requirements set out in Law 2/2023, of February 20, regulating the protection of people who report regulatory violations and the fight against corruption, Loyola University has implemented its Whistleblower Protection Channel, better known as a reporting channel, available to its entire university community and third parties.

The purpose of the Channel is to protect against possible reprisals all people who, in a work or professional context, detect criminal or administrative offenses and communicate them through the mechanisms indicated in this document, always guaranteeing the confidentiality and integrity of communications.

All receipt of communications is under the responsibility of the person in charge of the Whistleblower Protection System, dependent on the legal counsel of Loyola University.

Among the measures to protect the informant, the possibility of presenting information anonymously or refusing to communicate with the System Manager after the submission of the information stand out, in addition to the confidentiality and integrity of their communications.

Regardless of whether the information is submitted anonymously or if you have exercised the right to refuse to communicate, the Channel creates an acknowledgment of receipt, generating an alphanumeric password that will allow the informant to follow the procedure by accessing the Channel using it, or by receiving the update notice at the email address that, if appropriate and voluntarily, he has provided.

Through the Channel, in addition to following up the procedure, the informant may provide additional information and, where appropriate, receive requests for additional information from the person in charge of the system

the other hand, with regard to issues related to human resources, these cannot be reported in this system, but must be discussed with their manager, director of services or the director of human resources.
