Whistleblower Channel

The IGeFE, I.P. whistleblowing channel is part of the regulatory compliance program, in accordance with Decree-Law No. 109-E/2021, of 09.12 wwith the purpose of preventing, detecting and sanctioning acts of corruption and related offenses under the terms of Law No. 93/2021, of 20.12, which establishes the General Regime for the Protection of Whistleblowers (RGPDI), transposing (EU Diretive 2019/1937 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 23.10.

It also makes it possible to report any violation of the Code of Good Conduct for Preventing and Combating Harassment int the workplace, in accordance with Law 73/2017 16.08 and art.º 29.º of the Labor Code.

This whistleblowing space is intended for IGeFE, I.P. employees and anyone who, in the context of their professional activity, is in any way connected with the Institute, including private, social and public sector employees, former employees and also service providers, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers (or any other persons under their supervision and direction), volunteers or trainees (regardless of whether they are paid or not) and shareholders.

Reports can be made confidentially, indicating the name and contact information, or anonymously. It is an impartial and independent portal, which receives and processes your report with secrecy and confidentiality, from its receipt to its resolution.

Note: The whistleblowing channel should not be used to submit complaints. These should be submitted via the official IGeFE, I.P. website under Suggestions, Compliments and Complaints.
