Law no. 93/2021 of 20 December established the General Regime for the Protection of Whistleblowers of Infractions - RGPDI, transposing Directive (EU) 2019/1937 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 October 2019 on the protection of persons who report violations of Union law.
The RGPDI provides for the mechanisms of admissibility and procedures applicable to complaints of infringements made on the basis of information obtained in the scope of professional activity, as well as measures to protect whistleblowers.
The Azevedos Group's Whistleblower Channel is intended for reporting irregularities that are covered:
(i) the scope of the GDPR; or
(ii) by the scope of the General Regime for the Prevention of Corruption (RGPC), approved by Decree-Law no. 109-E/2021, of 9 December.
It is an impartial and independent portal, which receives and processes complaints with secrecy and confidentiality, from their receipt to the resolution.
After submitting your report, an access code will automatically be generated, which you must keep securely. This access code will allow you to consult and monitor the status of your complaint process, as well as to make new communications or provide clarifications.
All communications about the status of your complaint, request for clarification and sending additional information will be made through this platform, which you must access using your access code.
The processing of personal data in the context of a complaint process complies with the provisions of the General Regulation on Data Protection, approved by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, Law no. 58/2019, of 8 August, and Law no. 59/2019, of 8 August.

The Azevedos Group Whistleblowing Channel is not intended for the submission of complaints regarding Human Resources, labor law or other matters that are not specifically identified in the form provided.
All users of the Whistleblower Channel are protected by law, prohibiting any type of retaliation, ensuring anonymity (when desired by the whistleblower) and, or confidentiality.
