The Ethics and Conduct Channel is an important part of the regulatory compliance program implemented in the Nabeiro Group, with a view to preventing, detecting and sanctioning the infractions provided for in article 2 of the General Regime for the Protection of Whistleblowers of Infractions, acts of corruption and related infractions, in accordance with the General Regime for the Prevention of Corruption and violations of the Code of Ethics and Conduct of the Nabeiro Group (accessible here).
Important information:
- The whistleblower should consult the Whistleblower and Complaint Channels Management Manual, available here.
- The whistleblower must act in good faith, have a serious basis to believe that the information is true and substantiate his/her complaint in a serious and credible way.
- Grupo Nabeiro ensures the confidentiality of the whistleblower's identity, except for situations of compliance with legal obligation or judicial decision.
- Intending the Whistleblower that the anonymity of his identity is guaranteed, the Nabeiro Group ensures the existence of the technical and organizational means that guarantee it.
- Reports received in the Nabeiro Group Ethics and Conduct Channel that do not deal with (i) Violations of the Law (under the terms defined in Law no. 93/2021, of December 20 and Decree-Law no. 109-E/2021, of 9 December), (ii) violations of the Nabeiro Group's Code of Ethics and Conduct, (iii) potential situations of conflict of interest and (iv) harassment, will be forwarded to the Departments responsible for following up and responding to such communications.
