Autoglass - Vidros para viaturas Lda. (Carglass Portugal) implements a process of receiving, analyzing and processing complaints, with the aim of preventing and combating illicit conduct, in accordance with the legislation introduced by Law no. 93/2021 of 20 December, which transposes Directive (EU) 2019/1937 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 23 October 2019, on protection of persons reporting offences, of Union law and laying down provisions on the protection of persons when reporting violations of national regulatory provisions (the so-called “Whistleblowing Law”).


The complaint process is an integral part of the policies of Autoglass - Vidros para viaturas Lda., pursuant to Decree-Law no. 109-E/2021 of 09 December.  For the sending and management of reports, Autoglass — Vidros para viaturas Lda., implements a dedicated IT platform, which is a preferred channel for sending complaints.

If the complainant does not indicate his/her identification and/or contact details, the complaint will be considered anonymous and, therefore, will be treated as an ordinary complaint, making it impossible to apply the discipline referred to by the Whistleblowing Law. In any case, the report will be recorded and stored (with all relevant documentation attached) in order to assure the whistleblower who identified himself and who at a later time communicated to the authorities that he suffered retaliatory measures due to the report, the protections guaranteed in the Whistleblowing Act.
