Your concerns related to our business are important to us. To provide an accessible, secure and reliable mechanism for employees and third-parties to report suspected misconduct involving Camurus, we have established this online whistleblowing platform.
Examples of misconduct could be potential compliance violations in relation to corruption, fraud, financial reporting, accounting, sales & marketing, inappropriate interactions with healthcare stakeholders, or work-place misconduct, such as discrimination or harassment.
Camurus encourages any third-party (e.g. vendors, suppliers, business partners, agents, job applicants etc.) and Camurus’ employees to raise any concerns related to suspected misconduct involving Camurus business via this online platform.
You can report information about matters you have discovered, heard about, or otherwise have a reasonable ability to suspect.
It is our firm commitment to address all alleged misconduct related to breaches of applicable laws, regulations, industry code, Camurus’ policies and/or company steering documents in the area of healthcare compliance, which is brought to our attention, and to respond to these in a timely fashion.
No one who in good faith reports suspected wrongdoing will be subject to retaliation or discipline by Camurus for having reported a case, even if the allegation that is made is ultimately established to be non-substantiated.
Process and timelines
When a report has been received, the information is assessed and decision is taken whether a further investigation shall be initiated. You will receive a confirmation within 7 days of submitting a report, that the report has been received by Camurus.
Confidentiality and data privacy
All communications and records related to a reported case will be treated in a confidential manner, except to the extent necessary to conduct a complete and fair investigation, and in full respect of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Camurus Data Protection Policy.
You may report a case confidentially (your name, and if relevant also contact details, is shared with Camurus), or anonymously (your name and contact details is not shared with Camurus), according to your preference.
Please read the “Notice to reporter” (displayed immediately right next to this text in the platform), for further information concerning the processing of personal data in relation to reporting and conduct of investigations, before you make a report.
Follow up and update of report
From the online platform you can make a new report or follow up on an existing report. Following up on your reports can be relevant for several reasons:
1) You wish to see the status of your report, to check if action is being taken.
2) You wish to provide additional information to your report.
3) Additional information is requested from you to conduct an investigation, to help Camurus resolve the issue or to take the appropriate action.
