i3s Whistleblower Channel (or Speak Up)

On this channel, you can submit reports related with moral and sexual harassment, research misconduct and the various forms of corruption listed in the General Scheme for the Prevention of Corruption (RGPC). The channel should be used to report situations that would not otherwise be disclosed.

Reports can be made with identification and contact information or, if you wish, anonymously.

All reports are treated in a confidential and secure manner.

How to create a report:

1. Click on "Create a new report"

2. Follow the instructions and fill out all required fields

3. Click on the "Submit" button

4. After submitting the report, make sure to save the unique access code.

You can use this unique access code to access and follow up on your report, which may be relevant for several reasons:

1) You may want to check the status of your report to see what actions are being taken.

2) You may want to provide additional information regarding your report.

3) The person handling your report may have contacted you for additional information to address the issue or take appropriate actions.

The whistleblowing channel is not the appropriate place to deal with HR-related issues, except in the case of moral and/or sexual harassment, which can be reported through this channel. i3S ensures that, in the case of reports of sexual and moral harassment and research misconduct and unacceptable practices (not covered by the General Regulation for the Prevention of Corruption (RGPC) and the protection of Whistleblowers (Law no. 93/2021 of 20 December), whistleblowers benefit from the protection that may be granted through the adoption of internal regulatory mechanisms.
