The digital whistleblower portal of lekker Energie GmbH

Responsible corporate governance and compliance with laws and regulations are important concerns for lekker Energie. If misconduct is detected at an early stage, it is possible to reduce risks and limit damage, benefiting not only lekker Energie, but also its employees and other stakeholders. We therefore encourage you to report any information about potential serious misconduct or wrongdoing via our digital whistleblower portal.

How do I submit a new report?

You can submit a new report by clicking on the "+ Create new report" button. An input mask will open in which you can enter your details.

Who can submit notifications?
Whistleblowers can be employees, partners, suppliers, applicants, or even former employees. You therefore have the option of reporting suspected misconduct or wrongdoing within the digital whistleblower portal. This report can be submitted either by name or anonymously.

What information can I provide?
Such reports may concern suspected bribery or corruption, antitrust or competition violations, breaches of trade secrets, violations of data protection regulations, environmental pollution, violations of the AGG (German Anti-Discrimination Act), sexual harassment or assault, or violations of disclosure and information obligations.

The deliberate or grossly negligent submission of false reports is prohibited and may result in criminal prosecution.

What happens after I have submitted a report?
Every report is investigated, regardless of whether it was submitted anonymously or with the name of the person making the report. Section 17 of the Whistleblower Protection Act (HinSchG) stipulates a clearly defined procedure for handling reports. According to this, you will receive confirmation of receipt within seven days of submitting your report and, within three months at the latest, feedback on the follow-up measures that have been planned and already taken. The whistleblowing team will keep in contact with you throughout the process wherever possible.

Can I submit the tip anonymously?

You can also submit reports without giving your name. If you have submitted a report anonymously, you will then have the option of providing your email address and will be automatically informed about the current status of the report. Lekker Energie cannot view this email address. If you do not wish to provide an email address, you can make a note of the password generated by the system after submitting the report and enter this password in the digital whistleblower portal to find out about the current status of the report. In this case, you will not receive automated messages. However, you can use this portal to add to the report you have submitted or to communicate with the whistleblowing team.

Will my data be treated confidentially?
The digital whistleblower portal is provided by an external partner to ensure the highest level of data security and anonymity. All information transmitted via this system is treated as strictly confidential and can generally only be viewed by the whistleblowing team.

How am I protected as a whistleblower?
The very name of the law, the “Whistleblower Protection Act,” suggests that the protection of whistleblowers is given high priority. This protection is also expressly in the interests of lekker Energie. One key protective measure, for example, is the legal prohibition of any reprisals against whistleblowers.

Where else can I turn to?
In addition to lekker's own internal reporting office, there are external reporting offices at the Federal Office of Justice, the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority, and the Federal Cartel Office

In principle, you are free to choose whether to contact an internal or external reporting office. However, in cases where effective action can be taken internally against the violation and there is no fear of reprisals, you should give preference to reporting to the internal reporting office.

I am a lekker customer. Am I in the right place?
The digital whistleblower portal is not a complaints office for customers; it serves exclusively to uncover suspicious facts regarding potential grievances. Customers should contact lekker customer service using the communication channels listed at www.lekker.de.

Where can I get additional information?
You can find more information about the Whistleblower Protection Act here. You can also find all the necessary information on using a whistleblower portal here.

Employees of lekker Energie GmbH can find further information on the digital whistleblower system in the Whistleblower Protection Policy and on the digital whistleblower system
