ROMEU's Whistleblowing Channel

In order to prevent, uncover, and sanction breaches or infringements of the Code of Ethics or, in general, of the ROMEU Compliance Program or other irregularities or breaches of applicable law that may occur by members or third parties with whom ROMEU is related or associated professionally, as well as to raise questions or queries, this Whistleblowing Channel is set up, which allows anyone who has had knowledge of such breaches or infringements to report it to the Chief Compliance Officer & DPO of ROMEU, including anonymously.

WHAT CAN BE REPORTED THROUGH THE WHISTLEBLOWING CHANNEL?

Any breach of or non-compliance with the Compliance Program and other internal regulations of ROMEU, the values, guidelines of action or rules of conduct contained therein.

Any violation of applicable current law.

Any situation of harassment or discrimination based on sex, sexual orientation, religion or any other personal circumstance.

Any contingency that could pose a risk to ROMEU's reputation.

Questions or inquiries regarding the implementation of the Compliance Program.

In any case, the content of the communication must be related to behaviours or acts committed by members and third parties with whom ROMEU is related or associated professionally or to questions about the Compliance Program.

The Whistleblowing Channel must not be used to falsely accuse other people and false information must not be reported. Furthermore, all kinds of reprisals against anyone who reports a breach or infringement in good faith are expressly prohibited. The ban also affects family members, employees and other people associated with the informant.

All communications will be treated confidentially.

WHO CAN REPORT A BREACH OR INFRINGEMENT?

The Whistleblowing Channel can be used by:

All ROMEU staff, including interns, volunteers, employees in training, former employees and candidates in a selection or negotiation process.

Shareholders and members of management, executive or supervisory bodies of a company, including non-executive members.

Contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, as well as their employees and collaborators.

We inform you that ROMINVEST S.L., as the data controller, will process your data in order to attend to your request and manage the complaint submitted through this channel, whose legal basis for processing is compliance with a legal obligation imposed by Law 2/2023, of 20 February, regulating the protection of people who report regulatory infringements and the fight against corruption.
