VZ Group: Whistleblowing

Integrity and compliant behaviour are the foundation for the good reputation and trust that VZ Group enjoys among clients, employees and business partners.

This whistleblowing system allows clients, business partners and other third parties to report potential wrongdoing anonymously in the event of suspicion. Such wrongdoing may include irregularities, misconduct, potential infringements, and criminal offences.

Relevant whistleblowing
Whistleblowing is justified and admissible if whistleblowers can assume that there is wrongdoing based on established facts and their level of knowledge. This means that the whistleblower does not have to prove the wrongdoing. Rather, there must be reasonable grounds for suspicion, which must be based on personal observations and documentation.

Confidentiality
Provided that the report is not made anonymously, the whistleblower’s identity will be treated as confidential. If the report is made anonymously, the whistleblower’s anonymity is ensured by the electronic whistleblowing system at all times.

Protection from sanction
Whistleblowers who make justified reports are protected from both sanctions under labour law and negative consequences.
