This reporting mechanism is compliant with Italian law on Whistleblowing (D. Lgs. 24/2023) and with EU Directive n. 2019/1937.
Your report will be handled according to WeWorld internal procedures that are summarized in the flochart in the third tab of this page (top right).

REPORT A CONCERN
Through this Whistelblowing reporting mechanism, all people in and outside We World - GVC can report information or facts related to violations or suspect of violation of WeWorld Code of Ethics and Conduct, Policies or any possible misconduct, wrongdoing, lack of transparency or irregularity involving somehow WeWorld and its activities in Italy and in any other Country around the World.

CONFIDENCIALITY, PROTECTION & ANONIMITY 
This reporting channel is confidential and protected, you can also report anonymously, if you prefer.  
We World guarantees the protection of the identity of the whistleblower, and of any suspected person and of any other person involved to during the handling of the report.
Information will be disclosed to involved person only on a “need to know” basis, thus safeguarding any risk of exposition, retaliation or consequences for any involved person.  
All personal data and information you will share in your report will be treated in full compliance with privacy regulations, and according to the Privacy Policy you can read in the second tab of this page (top right).

You can also submit a vocal message instead of a written report, in such case your voice will be modified to protect your anonymity.  
 
GENUIN REPORTING  
Any person reporting a concern or a wrongdoing must always do so in “bona fide” thus meaning that any report made with knowledge of their falsity (even partial) or with willful disregard of the truth, may lead to disciplinary measure and sanctions. 
WeWorld will take available and proportionate measures against anyone deliberately making a false accusation or intentionally providing false information. 
 
WHO CAN MAKE A REPORT 
Anyone being concerned about potential violations or risks of illicit behaviors is encouraged to report (also anonymously if preferred) their concerns via our secure and confidential channels. 
Each report is taken very seriously: however in case of anonymous reports, it is crucial to include supportive evidence, as investigating anonymous reports can be challenging, due to the lack of identifiable information and  the difficulty to gather additional data or information. 
 
WHAT CAN BE REPORTED 
Any information concerning a suspected or confirmed misconduct, a breach or suspected breach of law or regulations or WeWorld policies and procedures, Humanitarian Principles and any other principle internationally recognised and adopted by WeWorld. 
Reports may concern issues of  
  • fraud and or corruption, funds misuse or diversion; 
  • any form of abuse, in particular sexual abuse, exploitation and/or sexual harassment including any type of child abuse allegations; 
  • violations of WeWorld Organization, Management and Control Model pursuant to the Italian Legislative Decree No 231/01, including violations of WeWorld security rules and protocols; 
  • retaliations or threat of retaliation for having previously reported or for having cooperated with a duly authorized audit or investigation; 
  • misuse of WeWorld’s assets or resources; and other violations of WeWorld’s organisational policies, regulations, rules and administrative issuances; 
  • any violation of WeWorld Code of Ethics and Conduct, WeWorld’s organisational policies, regulations, rules and administrative issuance. 
 
WHAT IS EXCLUDED FROM THIS REPORTING MECHANISM 
This reporting channel is not suggested for: 
  • personal or work related issues (not involving abuse or misconduct of any kind) with colleagues, including managers. This kind of claims should be reported to HR department. 
  • right-holders individual claims, as well as requests for assistance (in kind or in cash) and requests for services. These issues fall outside the scope of this reporting and should be submitted by using the dedicated channels and means at Country level or by contacting the nearest WeWorld office.  
Any report wrongly directed to this reporting mechanism will be referred to the competent functions/office or discarded, if it is not possible to identify the correct recipient.  
 
WHO WILL BE RECEIVING YOUR REPORT? 
WeWorld’s Quality, Legal and Compliance Unit will takeover and register the complaint and will handle or refer the report according to WeWorld internal procedures and Whisleblowing policy. You can find here a summary of the report handling procedure in the third tab of this page (top right).
  
STATUS OF YOUR REPORT AND FOLLOW UP 
At report submission you will be assigned a unique code to store confidentially and to be used to follow up the handling of your report.  
A confirmation of receipt and takeover of the report will be issued within 48 hours from report submission. Report closure will be notified to the whistleblower by using this platfotm.
